Draig Enfys Housing Co-operative Limited (29927R) was registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 on 2005-04-26 as part of a plan to set up a low impact living project on a 10 acre smallholding called Sychpant near Boncath in Wales. The registration was expertly handled by Emma from Catalyst but by the time it was complete the purchase of Sychpant had fallen through. Draig Enfys (Welsh for Rainbow Dragon) remained in limbo until recently, ready for use should another opportunity arise. However, it was eventually decided to wind it up, mainly to avoid doing the required annual returns and paying the associated filing fee. It was officially deregistered on 2010-08-11.
